Cylinder Wrap Tube Solid allows you to wrap a solid tube around a cylinder using the following rules:
- The wrapping routines use the end points of lines and curves in the construction of the box or geometry (construction or non-construction) in the sketch to determine the cylinders Height (length of the cylinder) and the Outside Diameter (OD). The width of the box in either X or Y axis is equal to the circumfer-ence of the cylinder.
- The diameter and height of the cylinder will be determined by either the geometry in the sketch or the four construction lines which will force the size of the cylinder.
- The geometry in the sketch may lay outside of the box and will be wrapped to the height and diameter of the cylinder as determined by the box.
- A face may be extracted from a solid model to wrap a cylinder, the face will be parametric.
A cylinder box must be constructed in the sketch mode and a single line will be used as the center line of the tube. The cylinder box must be construction lines in the sketch.
Note: The Cylinder Wrap Tube can also make use of Law Curves to control the tube radius along the length of the tube. See the Law Curves section for more information regarding the construction and use of law curves.
